AHFC RULES
All Members of AHFC agree to abide by the following rules.

AHFC exists to provide a place for the friendly discussion of football and other topics. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a reasonable manner and in accordance with this code of conduct. As a general rule members are expected to conduct themselves as if they were involved in a face to face discussion. Members should also give consideration in their posts to the ethnic and cultural diversity of the memership.

1. Treat all Members with respect at all times.

2. Do not divulge passwords, including your own and any password for a protected forum, to any other person.

3. Do not use vulgar or profane language, or language or images which other members may find offensive, in usernames, posts, Personal Messages (PMs), avatars, Personal Photos, titles, signatures or any other part of AHFC. Derogatory comments about rival teams or players may be deemed a breach of this rule. Images should be of a reasonable size and not be out of proportion to the overall size of the post or signature.

4. Do not create provocative topics or posts unless it is in the Senior Members forum expressly created for ‘no-holds-barred’ football discussion. Nonetheless, such topics or posts must still adhere to all the other rules of AHFC.

5. Do not ‘hijack’ threads or post off-topic. If you wish to discuss an alternative topic, create a new thread. Equally, do not create a new thread if the topic already exists: post your comments on the existing thread.

6. Do not start threads in an inappropriate forum. Check forum descriptions and contents to determine the most appropriate forum for your new thread.

7. Do not attempt to use AHFC as a dating service. Respect the privacy of other members at all times.

8. The language of AHFC is English. While the use of foreign phrases is not prohibited, e.g. in signatures, English must be the language of communication. ‘Text speak’ and spurious posts to increase post counts are not appreciated, so you should refrain from these practices.

9. While AHFC does not discourage linking to external sites, linking to or promoting pornographic websites in any form is strictly prohibited. Likewise, links to or promotion of alternative forums to AHFC is prohibited.

10. Do not advertise personal or commercial services in nicknames, posts, PMs, avatars, Personal Photos, titles, signatures or any other part of AHFC.

11. Do not post copyrighted material unless permitted to do so by the copyright owner. If you post an article or comments which were created by somebody else, do not plagiarise, but attribute them correctly. If it is an online article, provide a link where possible.

If in doubt, ask a Director. Members who breach these rules risk being permanently banned from AHFC.
